Board of Stewards
- Erin recognized current BOS members.
- The Board of Stewards (BOS) has twelve members, and each member serves a 3-year term.
- The Church website has a Board of Stewards tab with current members, contact info, meeting dates, agendas, and minutes from BOS meetings.
- The Board of Stewards meets monthly, usually on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Anyone can be on the agenda. A two-week notice is requested.
- The board has a chair, vice chair, and recording secretary.
- Each board member serves on 1 of 4 3-person working teams, finance, council of ministries, trustees, or staff parish relations. Each working team has a lead that reports to the full Board of Stewards at each full board meeting. All twelve members can participate in each working team.
- The Board has created ad hoc committees to work on opportunities or issues that may arise. Any church member may serve on an ad hoc committee. They are ongoing and as needed.
- What is working with the BOS? All members of the Trustees’ working team assisted with the Church energy audit. More efficient than previous structure.
