Board of Stewards March 10th, 2026 Meeting Minutes
In-person attendees: Erin Brady, Celeste Tolbert, Aaron Byrd, Donna Galloway, Patty Olbrantz, Stephanie Knapp, Sharon Blythe, Ed Garrison, Les Swick, Aaron Davis. Zoom attendees: Dessa Boynton. Missing: Joe Tarpley, Bill Hansen.
Meeting called to order at 6:02pm. Quorum present.
February Minutes were reviewed and approved.
Scheduling Items
* Next Board meeting is scheduled for second Tuesday in April, which is April 14. Erin will not be available, so vice chair Bill will run the meeting.
* March town hall was penciled in for March 29, which is Palm Sunday and a one-service Sunday morning followed by an all-church lunch. Having an all-church town hall would be a logistical difficulty, so we decided to change the penciled-in town hall to an announcement made during the worship service to last a few minutes. The announcement will cover a brief financial snapshot and other important staffing information.

Working Team Updates
Staff Parish Relations: Discussed staffing issues and potential changes.
Council On Ministries: Hospitality Committee would benefit from a master calendar, so that we avoid double booking dates or over-extending people’s responsibilities.
Finance: Discussed year-to-date income and expenses, updated cash position.
Trustees: Working on finalizing list of capital improvements and deferred maintenance items, to be presented to Board at next meeting or two. Highest priority still to replace roof top HVAC units.
Preschool update: Identified two or three candidates for the two Board vacancies which will be opening up soon.
