There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is no male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” Galatians 3:28
The All Are Welcome Ministry wishes to support Skyland United Methodist Church in becoming increasingly more inviting to those who may feel marginalized.
Mission Statement:
Through circles of conversation, we seek to build positive relationships, knowledge and understanding that will continue to become more inclusive through education, ministry, advocacy, and witness. We welcome all regardless of race, age, gender, culture, nationality, creed, faith, history, sexual orientation, or gender identity, socio-economic, status, physical and mental ability, marital status, or family makeup.
We strive to follow the example of Christ, grow in love, and include into full fellowship and full participation all of God’s children, affirming God’s grace and Jesus Christ’s love for all persons with unconditional acceptance.
This ministry is open to anyone at SUMC with any views about these topics who want to engage in more Christian, loving discussion about difficult topics.
