Like a lot of you, I enjoy learning — in both formal and informal ways. It’s true that there is always something new to learn! You can engage in a new class anytime, but fall just seems to be that ideal time for “back-to-school.” By now, local schools have started back up. The colleges are well underway.
I am happy to partner with you with some learning and growing opportunities this coming fall (those offerings are described briefly in this newsletter). And, over the next couple of weeks as well as on our Launch Sunday, you will be exposed to many other small group/learning opportunities, classes, retreats and more. We have great learning events planned for our children and youth. I am so excited for what they will be exposed to over the next few months.
I hope you will take advantage of what Skyland has to offer. If you are in a small group, I hope the fall will be reinvigorating for you. Maybe you are not in a small group; so, let me encourage you to try something new for a change. Learning is a good thing! Whether at home, in your car, with your iPad or desktop or smart TV or with like-minded folks on our Skyland UMC campus — there are many possibilities out there for you to discover.
