Did you know that God loves it when you give of yourself?  It’s true!  Did you ever wonder how many people it takes to make church happen?  There are so many “small” things that create beautiful Sunday mornings.  One of the best descriptions – ever - of this is “who sharpens the pencils?”  What?  It just happens; what kind of question is that?  Someone sharpens those pencils, just like we used to do in school.  It may seem a small thing, but it has to happen!

If you ever jump in and get involved in your church, you will see that if everyone does something it really makes a difference.  Here is your challenge for 2025, JUMP IN!  Find at least one thing that you can do for your church.  There is an entire list below of things that make life happen at Skyland UMC.  Not all of them require many hours, not all of them require a monthly meeting, but they do require that you read, pray, and jump in!
