Bridges Reading Enrichment Program
Twice a week Skyland UMC welcomes students from a local elementary school to our campus for a program designed to assist with reading skills. Our church also works with another program that takes places at a local school.
Food Insecurity
There are several ministries available to volunteers who are interested in providing food for those in need. We include a list of needed items for our Blessing Box in each newsletter and we host a monthly food bank.
Unhoused Outreach
Our church supports ministries serving people experiencing homelessness by donating financial resources and volunteering our time by helping prepare meals, organizing donations, or serving at local shelters and outreach events.
Other Outreach Opportunities
Skyland UMC has other options for outreach within our community. These can be through monetary donations or through physically helping on projects.
