Jaime Graber
Jaime Graeber has spent her career sharing her passion for music and the arts with students and her community. She taught music for 15 years, serving as a middle school band director at Enka Middle and Waynesville Middle before transitioning to elementary music, where she spent her final four years in the classroom at Estes Elementary.
After stepping away from the classroom, Jaime spent three years working in Development at the Wortham Center for the Performing Arts. She now serves in what she considers her dream job as the Arts Education Curriculum Specialist for Buncombe County Schools, where she works to elevate arts education throughout the district and help ensure that the arts continue to thrive for all BCS students.
Jaime lives in Fletcher with her husband, their two children, Evelyn and Braylen, and their dog, Skylar. She is excited to continue serving in the Children’s Music Ministry at Skyland United Methodist Church and helping children discover the joy of music. You might also catch Jaime playing her flute during a worship service—her first musical passion and the instrument that originally inspired her journey into music education.
